Check out our Giveaways. Take a look at these pics. Exciting, Adventurous, Romantic, Challenging, Wow! The Week of Adventure was unlike any I have ever taken before. I was blown away with the level of service and organization as Costa Rica dealt with literally every single logistical need we had from the moment we landed until we were dropped at the airport.

I would recommend this vacation to anyone looking to get some real adventure in an amazingly friendly country.

All we have to focus on now is our next adventure. I even bought a house that backs up to a multi-square mile wilderness preserve. Hard to keep the deer out of my garden, but it's worth a few missing veggies to have that much wildlife roam thru your backyard. About a 2 miles down the road is the trailhead for a few nice walks. Great spot for a quick walk before dinner anytime I saw a nice otter in the creek last Sunday on a solo walk!

Watching the small wildlife brings me much joy! There once was this wild rabbit that had adopted me. I would lay down on the ground and it would come over to me and climb onto my chest.

It loved the feel of my hand stroking it's body. What a lovely feeling this was! Watching the chipmunks, the birds, the deer Whew, I'm getting high thinking about these treasures of life! I can't think of a greater feeling as the one I get with Nature! I just completed a photo safari in Botswana earlier this year, it was a trip of a lifetime!

Some of the photos on my profile are from this trip. There is nothing more exciting than an elephant coming into your camp at night, hearing a lion roar, or having a lioness sit next to your jeep close enough to where you could touch her on the head. Of course you don't, not if you want your hand. There is also nothing more exciting than camping in a rain storm.

The lightning and thunder may get a little scary, but after the storm subsides and the frogs come out and serenade, its totally awesome! Being outdoors puts a smile on my face! It nourishes my soul!

I simply mean as you get to know someone and know that you can trust yourself to be alone in the woods with them I fell in love with this place and it has now been deemed my secret hidden away park. When I walk into the entrance I can almost instantly feel the peace and serenity that it offers and I feel that I have entered a totally different world and if anywhere I can do my best thinking it is within all these amazing trees. The little paths that lead you here and there, the cliffs overlooking the water, the aroma of all the beautiful wildflowers, and most importantly the little wild creatures that you are lucky to spot if you are quiet enough.

I look forward to going there again in a few weeks when I know that a lot of the leaves have fallen, for it is truly beautiful there then and then I can play like a kid in the mounds and mounds of leaves! Once had a first meeting in a park on the Rideau canal. We walked and talked for a couple of hours. It developed into a relationship which lasted 18 months until she departed this world for a better place. The kids and I live in the country and love to do stuff outside. Nothing like walking in the woods for wildflowers or mushrooms in the spring or rustling through the autumn leaves scattered on the forest floor.

I couldn't stand to live in an urban setting. I swore if I ever did it again, I would go that route and keep it very simple, intimate, and all the more meaningful. It doesn't take long to put on my walking boots and off we go.

Even blueberries you pick on while hiking taste different than those giant ones any supermarket over here offers. And when you tune to the choir of birds and sound of the waterfall What re-energises me better? Definitely outdoors activities that can "test" my physical stamina too.

I love being outdoors and the whole camping thing. I worked on a trail crew for a month after high school.

Just living in the middle of the mountains of Montana with a few people and nature. I am not about to run off to the middle of nowhere on a first date but I'm all for being in nature.

Perhaps just a walk on the beach or a boardwalk. A picnic in the park. That sort of thing. It was scenic and outdoors and well used so safe. Although I still live by the ocean, I do not suggest walking along a beach here as there are only 2 real choices I have suggested a park though Some of my favorite areas though to go to around here include a couple state parks, a couple historical sites, all of which have great trails for hiking and photography if you are into that.

Up until a couple of years ago used to go camping once a year - real roughing it, cabin-style camping LOL but absolutely loved it. Having lived in a several states throughout the western and southern US and traveled through some of the mid-northern and mid-central states, I consider myself lucky to be in AL for one reason: I like nature but I'm mosquito bait so I don't camp or stay outside too long. Not really the type to do a "Nature Date" for a "chemistry experiment", more a second or third, or maybe months later, kind of thing.

Yes I'm a nature lover. Recreational consultation is one of my incomes. Guess my idea of a first date isn't that bad after all.

Although I live near the beach and love it, my heart, mind and soul are in the mountains. One Step At A Time. I'm an ocean lover. Yeah, I really love nature which is sort of odd because I really dont consider myself that much of an outdoors person. My gosh, have you ever noticed how many shades of green there are in a meadow?

No Change of seasons, no fall colors, no "true" spring. So glad to be back in the Northeast again. I am for certain a nature lover!

Well, the Broncos are on and the does and fawns have settled in the cottonwood row on the west side of the house as the sun flirts with the Sangre Crest to the West. I could spend all day just gazing at the ocean
