Pros of Living in Cebu

I think I prefer that. Crow's Feet Facial Exercising. Millions of people, both male and female, undergo cosmetic surgery, also called plastic surgery, every year. Pretty good location though, close to both Ayala and SM and not long way from Mango. Scummy flakey low-IQ girls that appear to be mainly semipros Locals who disrespect you and gather around you while you are eating Dickhead expat types. To be honest, the problem of paying the bills and providing food is simple compared to the issues involved when people you are close to need help, and because of complications you cannot provide it.

Much more than that seems excessive. I could imagine there being a tough side to being wealthy.. Very well said, though admittedly we all want to get rich. I think you raise a lot of valid issues, wealth provides a person with freedom and options, nothing more.

Wealth can also be a burden, you need to really be in touch with yourself to manage it well. Most wealthy people I know appreciate the freedom but can also find it stressful. Being wealthy begins with a mindset. I remember when I was as broke as a joke and blaming everything else but myself. I had some of the best business opportunites out there, some of the best partners, but I always seemed to mess things up. One thing I have come to understand is that when you are too poor, your life is all about money or more precisely, the sheer lack of it.

If you become too rich, then your life becomes all about money or more precisely having an excess amount of it. There is a comfortable middle where your life is no longer about money, and if you have been poor and broke that is probably where you need to be. Living in a moderate way and secretly having a lot of wealth is probably the best way to go. If being rich means the end of your goals and ambitions, then you are a very shallow person.

And nobody cares about being judged unfairly. Surround yourself with as many wise and good people as you can and this will never be any more than an occasional and minor nuisance. Besides that, if people get aggressively envious, you can afford jiu-jitsu lessons and a gun license. Someone being richer than you is, again, not a problem with money, but with a lack of gratitude.

As for guilt, be honestly charitable and have good use for yourself to save or spend, or for others for every single dollar you have, and you will never feel guilt. Scams and fraudsters are preventable by means of research and credibility.

Your last point has far more to do with recognizing female psychology than with being rich; most people who are good with women rarely come across this problem. There are signs you can look out for and subtle tests you can give to weed out the gold diggers.

Thanks for the article. I would not trade bodies and finances with Warren Buffett! There are other related questions such as in the process of getting rich whether you get to create new cool technologies or music, or just something boring like filing tax documents.

I make a great salary working as a scientist at tech companies. And I also do investing and created some early stage startup at this point. But I could pursue startups more or go more into business if I cared about money that much.

Like Warren Buffett said the only real difference at the high end is transportation: I feel lucky to have a career in science and technology where there is a lot of flexibility in what I can work on. Nevertheless having more money would give me more potential positive impact on the world. Beautiful women can be had by anyone who works out, has a decent career, has good social skills, and practices dating. If you want to be superficial, even luxury cars can be obtained on the cheap by shopping for a used car.

So on the whole I mostly view wealth as something utilitarian to let me work on fun problems, since I already have enough money to live a nice lifestyle. I mostly do investing for the theoretical reasons that it helps correctly allocate capital to growing businesses thus creating jobs, prevents loss of principal due to the central bank, and benefits capitalism and creates new technologies.

Similar reasons for my startup. That is, the drive to make money is because of the theory of making the world better, and not the practical benefit of spending it. Probably the money is most appealing to people who are so superficial that they interpret having a helicopter instead of a car as evidence of them being a better person. This superficiality is a non-sequitur although greatly encouraged by my society America.

However even if these people are only motivated by the superficial desire to flaunt their ego and as a result they create businesses, jobs, services, goods, then this is still a good thing, which is probably why this is held out as a carrot, motivating people to be rich.

I think everybody wants enough money to pay the ever-stacking piles of bills and mortgages and still have a good chunk left to spoil themselves. I myself have always wondered what it would be like to grow up with money passed down by extremely wealthy ancestors. Or becoming rich through hard work, or even winning the lottery. But what hit me most was the reference you made to the Maxim Magazine founder about only making your first few million and calling it quits. At best, I can only hope to make a few million I suppose, since I doubt many middle class citizens end up becoming extremely wealthy.

But that keeps my spirit up, maybe a couple million is really all i need. Ok, now the hard part, gotta start making some money. See you guys in a decade when i have a few million, lol. Yeah being upset because your neighbor has a bigger Yacht than you, sounds a lot better than being hungry for a day because you want to save your last 5 dollars to eat the next day.

Or being depressed because someone is living their life lavish, while you slave 5 days a week doing the same boring dead end hustle for just enough money to pay bills and eat scarcely, might I add. Or if your million dollar idea you spent so much time working on does fail, and you are stuck back at a dead end hustle to make ends meet. Yeah, everyone has their cons for everything, but rich people need to understand that hundreds of millions of people would kill to be in their shoes some actually do.

So if you are reading this and you are rich, the minute you start feeling down because being rich is not as fun. Just think of how extremely, ridiculously fortunate you are. I know how to be happy, yet I am poor. I know how to shop and I do think money does buy some happiness but it depends on the individual how much. I would love to be able to make certain that all of my loved ones have enough to keep them from being vulnerable.

What fun it would be to see the local shelters have fresh fish and vegetables to serve for dinner. What fun to see to it that, for the first time in her life, the single mom has a reliable car. What fun to see to it that the local nursing home is completely sanitary and fully staffed.

Very good and fun read. I would rather be comfortable! I dont think that being filthy rich is nessasary. But I do believe that having the means to make things move pay bills is a stress reliever. Writing a book Challenge your creativity , traveling to different places, etc.. Old apartment and the WiFi sucked. Pretty good location though, close to both Ayala and SM and not long way from Mango.

A safety box in the room is good. But no cleaning or change of bedlinen. I had to pay for everything. The twenty K I paid should be maximum Will move to Lapu Lapu August Less traffic and a bit less polluted anyway. The traffic is really bad in Cebu City centre. I had my share of flakey ladies, almost unbelievable. I have one reliable girl that visits me like every third day. Better than in my home country anyway.

Good luck with the ladies. Everything is relative and here, those things are relatively higher. Keep that in mind in ANY interaction with a girl.

With that in mind, stop putting up with flakiness, bullshit, and games. The more of us who call girls out on their shit and stop giving them attention, the fewer flakes and time wasters there will be. I have to say after spending a little over a week here, I hate this city and country so much.

I actually miss the US. Scummy flakey low-IQ girls that appear to be mainly semipros Locals who disrespect you and gather around you while you are eating Dickhead expat types. I cannot find a single decent girl here to be with. I fucked up now because I signed a lease and now I have to see if I can get out of it. I should have done more research, like extensively.

I thought he was full of hot air. The older expats love it because they are shameless mongers, but I;m simply just looking for a gf so I can get work done online. A lot of scummy destitute types. Same thing goes for single moms. In the USA, single moms are a source of easy pussy.

They are talking about Cebu on RVF forum right now saying similar stuff, recent posts in the Philippines thread:. Lots of poor people from all over the Visayas hustling in Cebu. Lots of money thrown around by said tourists. Cebuanas are fucking awful. Good for flings occasionally but horrible for anything else. Really shitty locals too. Girls are unimpressive and bitchy. And for some reason my age is a nonstarter for a lot of them. I cannot wait to make my exit from this shithole.

Think long and hard before you book a ticket here. This is what I get for trying to be cheap. I should have stayed in Manila tbh. I met some great girls there in the past.

The Philippines seems like a shithole as soon as you arrive, many say that, then it grows on you. I got laid in Saigon my first night lol. Cebuanas are good for nothing. I recently canned DIA bc of the pro problem. DIA I never had problems with. Only met one girl who was a pro from there, DIA is pretty good about banning anyone who violates their rules and they prohibit pros and begging, etc. DIA is super hardcore about their rules…. The only advantage PinaLove has is that you can block Ladyboys categorically, instead of individually.

Tinder I never cared for because the girls on it tend to be a lot more materialistic. Too many stupid guys throwing money around spoils the women like feeding zoo animals people food—suddenly their normal diet is no longer eaten and they starve themselves until they get their next hit of sugar.

DIA had quite a few pros that I had to delete my account. I actually met this one chick and fucked her and I thought she liked me lol. Then she started moaning about how she needed medicine for her sore pussy and ass lol. Seemed like a semipro. I might reactivate it and give it another spin. AsianDating has been my staple, but the volume is weak and its a mixed bag.

Quite a few cute girls but you really have to weed and screen timewasters. I do not have FC yet. I have this hot girl from the province that came over but she is waaay too conservative. I might cut her loose. But I agree with you. But I have several dates which is like water here. If you are available, are you open to meeting up for drinks or something? Chicks were time-wasters, collecting likes and messages, ho-humm about meeting up, etc.

My time spent there was just wayy to high per date. Not worth it IMHO. Why not just date American broads? AsianDating costs money for girls to read your messages, no? Facebook is best place to meet normal girls.

Just make friends with them, ask them out friend their friends. Every guy in a marriage or girlfriend situation is in a long term prostitute situation. It can become addicting to some, who never meet offline or are looking for the next pretty face. Beware of the Digital Pen-Pal Syndrome. It's efficient and available hours a day. It's feels like a full-time job for many and you must be organized.

Many sites provide matching tools and send you emails of suggested matches to make it easier for you to view potential dates.

Many singles limit their search criteria to height, zip code, or income and can miss the opportunity to meet a compatible match. You may have friends in common which will make you more comfortable. You're not really sure of their relationship status. You can determine if there's chemistry in person sooner. You're limited to your existing social circles or regular activities and will meet less people. It's pre-dating, without the pressure of wondering if you're date's profile is accurate.

Singles may feel shy and not ask someone out for an official date. You can easily date in groups, while developing new friendships with people with similar interests. You're limiting yourself to a certain geographic area.

Dating sites have entered the events business giving you more choices to meet in person, without the pressure. You're not really sure if someone is interested in you romantically at a group event.

At the end of the digital day, if you're serious about meeting someone special, you must include a combination of both online and offline dating in your routine. Remember the goal of online dating is to take your relationship offline.
